An Inspiring Nigerian Wedding

I was lucky to have the opportunity to shoot this very interesting Nigerian Wedding at Terrace on the Park in Flushing. The couple had already been married in Maui and had an amazing wedding there. This was a continuation of their celebration with their close family and friends from New York. I was especially excited to photograph the wedding because of the gorgeous Nigerian costumes, traditional dances, and the warmth of the people. The colors and festivities provided an ideal setting for me photographically and the energy of the guests allowed for great candid moments. I am happy now to list a Nigerian wedding among the many cultural weddings I have taken from Yemenite, Moroccan, Indian, Russian cultures etc. Thank you Uzo & Charles for letting me be part of your special day and for sharing the obvious excitement of your family and friends.
